Star-Studded New York Party Features Miley Cyrus and Jon Hamm

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The Chelsea hotspot buzzed with excitement on Friday night as stars gathered for CAA‘s New York Party ahead of the Tony Awards. Notable attendees included Jon Hamm, 54, who quickened his pace to greet “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner, 59. Hamm looked sharp in a suit, recently celebrating the success of his new project, “Your Friends & Neighbors.”
Miley Cyrus, 32, appeared to delight in the festivities, even taking a camera from a photographer and snapping her own shots. Meanwhile, Brendan Fraser, who starred in “The Whale,” was spotted in a cozy corner, enjoying the atmosphere. Cyrus also hit the dancefloor, grooving to DJ Daisy O’Dell’s set.
Ansel Elgort from “Baby Driver” was deep in conversation with “Kraven the Hunter” director J.C. Chandor. Other notable guests included Andrew Scott, Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Daniel Dae Kim, and Mamie Gummer, among many others.
The CAA theater department head presided over the chic event. Hamm reflected on his casting in “Mad Men,” explaining the unique demands of the role. “The whole point of this show is that nobody knows who this guy is… It worked to my benefit rather than against me,” he said.
The evening coincided with anticipation for the 78th annual Tony Awards, set to air on Sunday from Radio City Music Hall. CAA also recently celebrated landing famed “Wicked” composer Stephen Schwartz.
As celebrities continue to shine in the limelight, the energy and enthusiasm at the sophisticated gathering highlighted the vibrant intersection of Hollywood and Broadway.
