Starbucks Launches Fall Menu with Pumpkin Spice Latte
Starbucks has officially announced the return of its fall menu for 2024, marking the much-anticipated arrival of the Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL). The seasonal offerings will be available at stores starting Thursday, August 22.
This year’s launch date signifies the earliest return of fall menu items in Starbucks’ history, as they have traditionally returned on or after August 24 in previous years.
Alongside the highly awaited Pumpkin Spice Latte, the fall menu will feature a new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai. Additionally, old favorites such as the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai will also be available for customers to enjoy.
Starbucks Reserve locations in Chicago, Seattle, and New York City are set to debut a special selection on Thursday, including the return of the Starbucks Reserve Pumpkin Spice Latte. New drinks such as the Pumpkin Spice Whiskey Barrel-Aged Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Affogato, Pumpkin Spice Chai Martini, and Pumpkin Spice Martini Flight will be introduced.
The Reserve menu will also highlight new and popular bakery items like the Pumpkin Croffel, Pumpkin Spice Cake, Pear and Almond Tart, and the 4 Stagioni Pizza, which includes prosciutto cotto, marinated mushrooms, artichokes, black olives, fresh tomatoes, and mozzarella.
In addition to the seasonal menu, Starbucks Reserve locations will offer a pumpkin spice tasting experience. These locations will also showcase cozy fall merchandise, including a pumpkin smash cocktail kit, an outdoor tabletop fire kit, and a PSL capsule collection featuring patches and beanies.
Consumers have recently noticed that coffee prices have nearly doubled since last year, with climate change being a contributing factor. Small businesses like Nguyen Coffee Supply in New York and FRINJ Coffee in California are making efforts to promote sustainability within the coffee industry.
