Stereophonics Stadium Tour

The Stereophonics, a renowned Welsh rock band, have unveiled plans for their largest stadium tour to date, scheduled for the summer of 2025. The “Stadium Anthems” tour will see the band perform in seven different towns and cities, culminating in a homecoming finale at Cardiff‘s Principality Stadium.

Formed in Cwmaman, Rhondda Cynon Taf, in 1992, the Stereophonics have achieved notable success, becoming the most successful Welsh band of their generation with eight UK number one albums. Frontman Kelly Jones expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming performances, stating that he was “excited” about playing in front of large audiences once again in June and July.

This marks the band’s first arena tour since 2022, during which they performed alongside Sir Tom Jones at the Principality Stadium across two nights. The upcoming tour dates include stops in Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Huddersfield, Glasgow, and London. Special guests for these shows have yet to be announced.

In addition to the stadium tour, the Stereophonics have also been confirmed as headliners for the Isle of Wight festival in 2025. Kelly Jones further commented on the excitement of playing “all the hits of this band’s catalogue for people in huge outdoor gatherings through the summer of 2025.” He jokingly added, “We should make a new album… oh wait … we already did that,” alluding to the band’s 13th studio album, which is set for release in 2025.

Tickets for the “Stadium Anthems” tour will be available for purchase starting at 09:00 BST on 11 October 2023.
