The Department of School Education Telangana has officially released the admit cards for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET 2024). Candidates can now download their admit cards from the official website. For candidates facing issues with online downloads, an offline option is also available. The exams are scheduled to take place from May 20 to June 6 in Telangana.

The TS TET exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, held in two shifts each. Paper 1 is for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates interested in teaching Classes 1 to 8 are required to take both exams. Notably, the validity of TS TET has been extended from seven years to a lifetime.

The admit cards are important for entry into the examination hall. Without a valid admit card, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam. The exam dates and shifts have been clearly specified for each paper. Candidates must follow the instructions mentioned on the hall ticket on the day of the examination.

Regarding the first language offered in schools under State Syllabus, candidates must choose one from the eight available languages. They should have studied the chosen language up to Class X. For those who studied CBSE/ICSE curriculum, they can select the language studied up to Class X. Meeting the minimum qualifying requirements for each class category is essential for candidates appearing for the TS TET exams.

The Telangana TET exam scores will hold 20% weightage in the Teacher Recruitment Test in the state. However, passing the TET does not automatically guarantee employment but is a necessary eligibility criterion. Candidates are advised to carefully read the expectations and guidelines for the exam day to ensure a smooth testing experience.
