Texas Tech Vs West Virginia Football Game Jones At&t Stadium

Texas Tech will close out the regular season by hosting West Virginia on Saturday, November 30, at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas. The game, scheduled for 11 a.m. Central Time, marks the final regular-season matchup for both teams and is significant for several reasons. For Texas Tech, a win would be a step towards progress under head coach Joey McGuire, potentially securing eight regular-season wins for the first time since 2009.

The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX Sports 1, with Eric Collins and Spencer Tillman providing the commentary. Radio coverage will be available through the Texas Tech Sports Network and the Mountaineer Sports Network for local listeners.

Tickets for the game are still available through the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office and can be purchased online or by contacting the ticket sales representatives. Fans are advised to use the new “tap and go” mobile ticketing system to expedite entry into the stadium. This system eliminates the use of QR codes and instead uses wireless scanners to identify mobile tickets.

Prior to kickoff, Texas Tech will honor its senior class in an on-field ceremony, recognizing over 20 seniors, including notable players such as Tahj Brooks, Josh Kelly, and Caleb Rogers. The ceremony is set to begin around 10:35 a.m. following pregame warmups.

The Red Raiders enter the game with a 7-4 overall record and a 5-3 mark in Big 12 play, while West Virginia stands at 6-5 overall and 5-3 in the conference. West Virginia is looking to achieve back-to-back six-win seasons in conference play for the first time since joining the Big 12.

The game is expected to be closely contested, given the history between the two teams. Since West Virginia joined the Big 12 in 2012, seven of the 12 matchups have been decided by one possession or fewer.

Additionally, Texas Tech students attending the game will receive Texas Tech branded fleece blankets, with the first 1,000 students through Gate 6 eligible for this giveaway.
