Tom Hardy Back on Set for Guy Ritchie’s New Global Crime Drama
Tom Hardy has been spotted back on set, this time for Guy Ritchie‘s upcoming untitled global crime drama. The filming took place in London, England, on December 3, marking Hardy’s return to a new project after the conclusion of the Venom trilogy.
The 47-year-old actor, known for his roles in films like “Venom” and “The Bikeriders,” is set to play Harry Da Souza, a professional conciliator for the Harrigan family, in the new series. The show is centered around two warring families based in London, with their enterprises spanning the globe. Pierce Brosnan will star alongside Hardy as Conrad Harrigan, the head of the Harrigan family.
Hardy was seen on set wearing a dark jacket and jeans, and he was joined by other cast members, including Jasmine Jobson and Antonio Gonzalez Guerrero. The series, initially viewed as a spinoff of the Showtime series “Ray Donovan,” has evolved into a distinct project under Guy Ritchie’s direction.
This new role follows Hardy’s recent work in “Venom: The Last Dance,” which concluded the Venom trilogy with a unique technical twist by bringing the character into daylight. Despite the challenges posed by this change, Hardy’s portrayal of Venom has been a defining element of the franchise.
