Toronto Maple Leafs Acquire Cade Webber From Carolina Hurricanes In Nhl Trade Deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have finalized a deal with the Carolina Hurricanes, acquiring defenseman Cade Webber in a recent NHL trade agreement.

Webber, a 23-year-old talent hailing from Meadville, PA, joins the Leafs roster with a solid track record from Boston University, where he has showcased his prowess on the ice.

With six assists in 30 games this season for Boston University, Webber brings a blend of defensive skills and a towering physical presence at 6’7” and 210 pounds to the Toronto team.

Carolina initially drafted Webber in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Draft, making him a promising addition to the Maple Leafs’ defensive lineup.
