Tyler Boyd’s Recent Performance and Fantasy Outlook for Week 13
Tyler Boyd, the veteran wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, has had a mixed season so far in 2024. Despite being one of the league’s best slot receivers over the last decade, Boyd has yet to find significant fantasy upside this year. As of the latest updates, Boyd has 33 catches for 317 yards but is still seeking his first touchdown as a Titan.
In his most recent game, Boyd had his best performance of the season, catching all six of his targets for a season-high 55 yards. However, his overall statistics for the season remain modest, with an average of just 4.1 PPR points and 2.8 targets per game from Weeks 6 through 11. This is largely due to the presence of Calvin Ridley and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as the top two receivers for the Titans, which limits Boyd’s opportunities for consistent targets.
Despite these challenges, fantasy managers in deeper 3WR formats might consider Boyd as a desperation flex option in Week 13 when the Titans face the Washington Commanders. The Commanders have allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts this season, making Boyd a potential sleeper pick for those in need of a last-minute option.
Boyd, who is 30 years old and stands at 6’2″ and 203 lbs, was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round (55th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played for the Bengals for seven seasons before joining the Tennessee Titans.
