Trayce Jackson Davis Golden State Warriors Game

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Golden State Warriors forward Trayce Jackson-Davis has been upgraded to available for Thursday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls after being listed as questionable due to an ankle injury. The decision comes after Jackson-Davis showed resilience in recent performances, including a strong showing against the Sacramento Kings earlier this week.

Jackson-Davis, who scored 11 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists in 23 minutes during the Warriors’ January 22 matchup against the Kings, has been a consistent contributor this season. He averages 8.4 points and a team-leading 6.5 rebounds per game across 41 appearances, most of which he started.

“Trayce has been working hard to manage his injury, and we’re confident in his ability to perform,” said a Warriors spokesperson. “His availability is a boost for the team as we face a tough opponent in the Bulls.”

Joining Jackson-Davis on the active roster are Gary Payton II, Moses Moody, and Lindy Waters, all of whom are expected to play significant roles in Thursday’s game. The Warriors are looking to capitalize on their depth as they aim to secure a crucial win in the competitive Western Conference standings.

Fantasy basketball managers, however, may find Jackson-Davis a risky play. While his full workload makes him a potential contributor, his injury history and matchup against a strong Bulls defense could limit his production.

Jackson-Davis’s performance this season has been a bright spot for the Warriors, who have relied on his rebounding and efficiency. Shooting 66.7% from the field in his last game, he continues to prove his value as a key rotational player.

The Warriors and Bulls tip off at 7:30 p.m. PST at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
