For the High Desert region, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas above 5000 feet, with expectations of 4 to 6 inches of snow overnight. Lower elevations will experience a mix of rain and snow, with temperatures dipping into the 20s and 30s. Despite the chilly conditions, there will be a brief break from the wet weather on Sunday, with some sunshine expected.
