Tna Genesis 2025 Wrestling Event Dallas

DALLAS, TexasTNA Wrestling kicks off 2025 with its highly anticipated pay-per-view event, Genesis, set for January 19 at the Curtis Culwell Center. The event features a stacked card, including championship clashes, grudge matches, and high-stakes showdowns.

The main event will see TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth defend his title against Joe Hendry, who earned another shot at the championship by winning a 4-Way #1 Contenders match at Final Resolution. Their previous encounter at Bound For Glory ended in controversy due to interference from John Layfield, adding extra tension to this rematch. “I BELIEVE I can become the TNA World Champion,” Hendry declared, setting the stage for a dramatic confrontation.

In another marquee match, former TNA and Knockouts World Champion Tessa Blanchard will face Jordynne Grace in a heated grudge match. Blanchard made a shocking return at Final Resolution, attacking Grace and vowing to reclaim her dominance in the Knockouts Division. Grace, however, has promised to defend her legacy, stating, “If Blanchard wants the Knockouts Division, she’ll have to go through me.”

The Knockouts World Championship will also be on the line in a unique Clockwork Orange House of Fun match, as champion Masha Slamovich takes on Rosemary. The match, suggested by wrestling legend Raven, will feature no disqualifications, no count-outs, and an array of weapons. “This is going to be chaos,” Slamovich said during a recent interview.

Tag team action will highlight the event as well, with The Hardys defending their TNA World Tag Team Titles against The Rascalz. The Hardys, who regained the titles in a Full Metal Mayhem match at Bound For Glory, face a formidable challenge from the rising duo of Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel. “This is a dream match for us,” Wentz said. “We’re ready to tear the house down.”

Elsewhere on the card, Mike Santana and Josh Alexander will collide in an I Quit match, escalating their bitter rivalry. Santana, who was denied a title opportunity at Final Resolution due to Alexander’s interference, is determined to settle the score. “This isn’t just about winning; it’s about making him quit,” Santana said.

The X-Division Championship will also be contested as Moose defends against Ace Austin. Moose, who has been dismissive of the division’s history, has promised to unveil a new X-Division Title at Genesis. Austin, a three-time champion, is eager to reclaim the belt and restore the division’s prestige. “Moose doesn’t respect what this title stands for,” Austin said. “I’m here to change that.”

Other matches include a Knockouts World Tag Team Title defense by Spitfire against Ash and Heather By Elegance, and a tag team showdown between The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) and the team of Eric Young and Steve Maclin. The pre-show will feature a singles match between Frankie Kazarian and rising star Leon Slater.

Genesis will stream live on pay-per-view through TNA+ and other providers, with the pre-show beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating what promises to be a night of unforgettable action and drama.
