Cam Newton Antonio Brown Social Media Feud

Boulder, CO – Cam Newton, the former NFL MVP, has stepped into a controversial social media feud involving Antonio Brown and the Sanders family. On his podcast, “4th and 1,” Newton criticized Brown for his negative portrayal of Shilo Sanders, a young defensive back and son of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion “Prime” Sanders.

The dispute escalated when Brown posted a training video that appeared to shame Shilo Sanders, leading Newton to question the video’s context. “Are you telling me that out of a whole track session we only see two videos?” Newton asked, suggesting that the content was misleading and lacked necessary context.

Newton revealed that Shilo reached out to him with additional footage from the same training session. According to Newton, this new evidence shows a competitive interaction between a younger Shilo and an at-his-peak Brown. “These videos show a young Shilo, maybe still in high school, going up against A.B. at the top of his game,” he explained. Newton emphasized that during that time, Brown was widely considered one of the league’s best receivers.

Newton expressed concern over how Brown’s comments could impact Shilo’s professional career as he attempts to secure a spot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. “In Shilo’s defense, he’s trying to make his way into the team,” Newton remarked. “That we covered that was not ideal in his situation. And I take that on board.” He then issued a challenge to Brown: “Antonio Brown, you have 24 hours to respond. You’re on the clock.”

In contrast, Deion Sanders opted for a more diplomatic approach, stating on X that he would not speak ill of Brown, either publicly or privately. However, Newton’s intervention ensures a more balanced narrative in the unfolding drama. For fans of the Colorado Buffaloes and the Sanders family, Newton’s defense underscores the support for Shilo and his hopes for a successful career.
