2025 Acc Baseball Tournament Schedule

Durham, North Carolina – The 2025 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) baseball tournament is set to kick off on Tuesday, May 20, at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The tournament comes as the regular season wraps up, with several teams vying for the prestigious No. 1 overall seed.

As the season approaches its finale, NC State, Georgia Tech, and North Carolina remain in contention for the regular season championship. The tournament’s new single-elimination format has heightened the stakes, as all 16 teams will compete following a summer expansion of the conference.

This year marks the 14th time the Durham Bulls Athletic Park will host the ACC tournament, a venue rich in baseball history, having first welcomed the event in 1984. A new format means the top four seeds will receive double-byes into the quarterfinals, while teams seeded 9-16 will battle it out in initial matchups.

The seeding was determined going into the final weekend, with Georgia Tech leading the pack with a conference record of 19-11. Florida State follows close behind with 17-10, while North Carolina and NC State are at 18-11 and 17-11 respectively.

Head coach for the Clemson Tigers, who completed a sweep over the Pitt Panthers this past weekend securing their 5-seed, expressed confidence in their team as they prepare for a quarterfinal matchup. ‘We are ready to compete and excited for the new format,’ he said.

Fans can look forward to an action-packed schedule at the tournament, with semifinal games on Saturday, May 24, and the championship match on Sunday, May 25. As the tournament draws near, excitement builds among players and fans alike for what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the season.
