Yudhvir Singh Charak Ipl Performance

New Delhi, India — Yudhvir Singh Charak had a rollercoaster performance in Tuesday’s IPL match against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The 25-year-old paceman from Jammu made a significant impact during his fourth game of the season. He began with an outstanding first over, taking two vital wickets. Yudhvir dismissed CSK’s Devon Conway, who was caught at mid-off, and dangerous Urvil Patel, who handed a catch to mid-on.

By the end of the third over, CSK found themselves in a tough spot at 20/2. However, Yudhvir faced challenges during his second over. After conceding just two runs on the first two deliveries, he struggled to maintain his form. R Ashwin capitalized on a delivery down the leg and hit it for a boundary. The next ball was hammered for six over the leg-side fence. Yudhvir’s over continued to unravel when he bowled a no-ball, allowing Ayush Mhatre to score another six over long-on, and finished the over with a four, ultimately leaking 24 runs.

Yudhvir’s performance shifted gears as he returned to bowl the seventh over. He showcased his skill by taking the wicket of Ravindra Jadeja, catching him at short mid-wicket. This marked a milestone for Yudhvir as he achieved his first three-wicket haul in an IPL match.

Despite Yudhvir’s efforts, both CSK and the Rajasthan Royals (RR) were unable to secure their positions in the IPL 2025 playoffs.
