Brighton leveled in the 29th minute when Ayari tucked a pass from Brajan Gruda into the net. Szoboszlai restored Liverpool’s lead just before halftime, unleashing a beautifully placed shot that surprised the Brighton goalkeeper.

Despite their lead, Liverpool couldn’t maintain their advantage. Mitoma scored the equalizer in the 69th minute with a follow-up to a save made by Alisson. The home crowd erupted as Brighton took control of the match.

Hinshelwood sealed the victory for Brighton in the 85th minute after connecting with Matt O’Riley’s low cross. “It was a thrilling match, and we really wanted to make our fans proud,” Hinshelwood commented.
