Dixon, who measures 6 feet 7.5 inches tall with a nearly 7-foot wingspan, showcased impressive versatility throughout his five seasons at Villanova. Averaging a team-best 23.3 points per game during his senior year, he racked up a total of 2,314 points across 162 games.
In a recent interview with HoopsHype, Dixon reflected on his college journey and the impact of coaching and teammates on his development. “Hard work and opportunity came together,” he said. “I’ve always been working on my game, and credit goes to my family and trainers for pushing me.”
Regarding his on-court performance, Dixon said, “I bring intelligence, toughness, and the ability to connect on both sides of the floor. I took pride in getting my teammates shots, and when they got hot, you couldn’t stop them.”
Defensively, Dixon is known for his strong physicality. “I can guard all positions, from point guards to centers,” he explained. “I’m excited for the challenge to go up against the best in the world.”
Dixon’s college experience has been more than just basketball skills. He emphasized the importance of leadership and personal development. “The basketball is great, but it’s almost secondary,” he stated. “We learn how to treat people and how to be professionals.”
