BTS’ Jin Transforms Tonight Show into Cozy Stage for New Album Performance

NEW YORK, NY – BTS member Jin made a vibrant return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 21, showcasing his latest single, “Don’t Say You Love Me.” The performance took place on a uniquely transformed stage that resembled a giant bed, reflecting Jin’s playful persona.
During his appearance, the singer performed the lead track from his new EP, Echo, released on May 16. This seven-track project is the follow-up to his debut solo EP, Happy, launched last November. Jin’s performance not only captivated the audience but also set a relaxed and cozy atmosphere on set.
After his performance, Jin participated in an interview with Fallon, demonstrating his humorous side by switching roles and even taking a seat behind the host’s desk. He created a fun and lively dynamic, which made for an entertaining segment.
This is Jin’s second solo appearance on the Tonight Show. Previously, he appeared in November 2024, where he performed his song “Running Wild.” He has also joined his BTS bandmates—SUGA, j-hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook—on the show several times, starting from their first visit in 2018.
BTS has a history of impressive performances on this late-night platform, having showcased various hits including “Idol” and “Permission to Dance” over the years. With this latest appearance, Jin continues to solidify his presence both as an individual artist and a member of the globally renowned group.
Fans eager to relive Jin’s full performance and interview can catch the episode, which aired at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC, or stream it on Peacock.
