Florida Panthers Carolina Hurricanes Playoff Game

SUNRISE, Fla. — The Florida Panthers will attempt to complete a sweep against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night, setting their sights on a spot in the Stanley Cup Final. The Panthers lead the best-of-seven series 3-0 after decisively winning Game 3 with a score of 6-2 on Saturday.

The Panthers dominated the Hurricanes throughout the first three games, outscoring them 16-4. In Game 3, Florida scored five goals in the third period alone, demonstrating their offensive prowess and team depth.

“We are prepared to go seven here,” said Panthers forward Aleksander Barkov. “The biggest thing with this group is that we focus on what we need to do, stay in the moment, and not look ahead.”

In Game 3, Niko Mikkola and Jesper Boqvist each scored twice, while Barkov contributed with a goal and two assists. Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky made 23 saves, helping Florida maintain their dominant form in the playoffs.

The Hurricanes, under coach Rod Brind’Amour, face significant pressure needing to win the next game to avoid elimination. They have struggled to find their rhythm in the series, particularly after losing 6-2 at home.

Game 4 is set for Monday at 8 p.m. ET at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, with the match available on TNT and truTV. A victory would send the Panthers to the Stanley Cup Final for the third consecutive year, continuing their strong playoff run.
