London, England – England’s cricket team faces the West Indies in the third and final One Day International (ODI) at Kennington Oval on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. England has already secured the series with a commanding 2-0 lead, delivering a 238-run victory in the first ODI and a remarkable chase in the second match.

In the second ODI, Joe Root starred with an impressive 166 runs, leading England to a successful target of 309 runs. This performance came after the West Indies set a challenging score of 308, powered by a century from Keacy Carty, who made 103 runs off 105 balls.

The English bowlers, notably Adil Rashid with four wickets and Saqib Mahmood with three, significantly restrained the West Indies’ batsmen. In their pursuit, England struggled initially when openers Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett both scored ducks, and captain Jos Buttler also fell without scoring.

Root and Harry Brook helped stabilize the innings, followed by Will Jacks contributing a quick 49 runs, ensuring England clinched the series. England won the toss and opted to bowl first.

The final ODI will kick off at 5:30 PM IST, following a toss scheduled for 5 PM IST. Fans can watch the live telecast on the Sports Network in India and stream it via the LIV and FanCode apps.

The squads for both teams remain competitive. England’s lineup includes notable players such as Ben Duckett, Jamie Smith, Joe Root, and Harry Brook, while Shai Hope leads a West Indies squad that features Keacy Carty and Evin Lewis.

As the match approaches, all eyes are on England to complete a clean sweep of the series before the T20 segment of the tour begins on Friday in Durham.
