Megan Thee Stallion to Headline Gala in New York City Next Month

New York City, NY – Megan Thee Stallion will perform at an inaugural gala on July 16 at Gotham Hall, marking her effort to spearhead the event.
Taraji P. Henson will host the evening, with Muni Long providing musical entertainment on the turntables. Proceeds from the gala’s auction will support education, housing, health, and wellness initiatives.
Among the honorees are Pastors Juanita and Rudy Rasmus, LaTosha Brown, the founder of Southern Black Girls & Women’s Consortium, and Mila Henry, founder of MH Boxes.
Guests interested in attending the black-tie event should fill out a form shared by the organizers. The gala will support the Pete & Thomas Foundation, which Megan launched in 2022 in honor of her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete III.
With the foundation, Megan aims to uplift women, children, senior citizens, and other underserved communities nationwide. In a press release, she stated, “Launching the Pete and Thomas Foundation is easily one of the most significant endeavors that I’ll ever be part of in my career. My family raised me to help others and give back, so I’m incredibly proud to be in a position to accomplish that goal.”
Muni Long recently released her single “Slow Grind” in February, following her Grammy-winning work. Meanwhile, Megan’s gala performance shows her commitment to using her platform for social good.
The event is set to draw significant attention and support for vital community initiatives.
