Chiefs Dominate Ravens in High-Scoring Showdown at Arrowhead

KANSAS CITY, MO — The Kansas City Chiefs put on a powerful display, defeating the Baltimore Ravens 37-20 in an NFL matchup on September 28, 2025. The victory marked a critical win for both teams, who entered the game with a 1-2 record.
The Chiefs quickly responded to an early Ravens score, taking the lead with impressive offensive plays by quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes threw four touchdown passes, leading Kansas City to score on seven of their first eight possessions. Running back Isiah Pacheco also contributed significantly, with a touchdown catch that marked Mahomes’ 250th career touchdown, making him the youngest player to reach that milestone.
Despite starting strong with a touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to Justice Hill, Baltimore struggled with turnovers. Jackson, who had no turnovers in the previous three games, threw an interception and fumbled, allowing the Chiefs to capitalize on their mistakes.
“We made too many errors to win the game,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. “We need to clean things up moving forward.”
The Chiefs’ defense played a strong role, holding the Ravens to four field goals following their initial touchdown. The Ravens’ offensive struggles continued as they faced multiple penalties and failed to convert key plays.
The Ravens managed to make it a 20-10 game before halftime, but the Chiefs continued to extend their lead in the second half, including a 71-yard touchdown run by Justice Hill. As the game progressed, Baltimore’s injuries mounted, losing key players including Ronnie Stanley and Roquan Smith.
With the victory, the Chiefs improved to 2-2, while the Ravens fell to 1-3, putting extra pressure on Baltimore as they face a tough schedule ahead.
