Jade Cargill Wwe Women's Championship Match

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — In an electrifying showdown at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Jade Cargill captured the WWE Women’s Championship by defeating Tiffany Stratton. The match took place after weeks of tensions and attacks leading up to the event.

Tiffany Stratton, who entered the ring with a heavily taped knee, faced Cargill just as their heated rivalry reached its peak. It all started with an unexpected heel turn by Cargill on SmackDown, where she violently attacked Stratton, targeting her knee with steel steps.

Not backing down, Stratton insisted on competing, despite general manager Nick Aldis expressing concerns about her injury. Aldis advised her to prioritize her health after observing her limp during the event’s lead-up.

As the match kicked off, Cargill wasted no time exploiting Stratton’s weak knee. After Cargill landed a series of attacks, including a brutal kick to the injured area, it was clear that the champion was at a significant disadvantage.

Cargill showcased her strength with multiple powerbombs and eventually finished Stratton with her trademark move, the Jaded, to secure the win and make history as the new WWE Women’s Champion.

This victory marks a monumental moment for Cargill, as it is her first individual championship since joining WWE in 2023. Although Tiffany Stratton’s title reign lasted 302 days with significant victories, including defenses against big names like Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair, it ended decisively in Salt Lake City.

In the wake of her loss, Stratton will likely seek time away from the title picture to regroup and refine her character, while Cargill is expected to establish herself as a dominant champion in the coming months.
