NFL’s Big Game in Berlin Draws Attention and Excitement
BERLIN, Germany — The Atlanta Falcons (3-5) are set to face the Indianapolis Colts (7-2) this Sunday at 9:30 AM EST at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. This matchup marks a significant milestone as it is the first time a regular-season game is held in the German capital.
Adding to the excitement, talented artists will perform at the event. Norma Jean Martine, a singer-songwriter hailed from Middletown, New York, will sing the U.S. National Anthem. “As an American artist with close ties to Berlin, singing the U.S. National Anthem at the NFL’s first regular-season game here is a huge honor,” Martine said. “I’m excited to share this unforgettable moment with the passionate fans both in the stadium and watching at home.”
German group German Gents will perform the German National Anthem, expressing pride in welcoming the NFL to Berlin. “This is a monumental day for German sports fans and a historic moment for the city,” the group stated.
Fans can expect high-energy entertainment throughout the game, including a halftime performance by The Kid LAROI, a GRAMMY-nominated artist who will headline the show. The halftime event will take place on the Olympic Steps at the Olympiastadion.
As for the game itself, the Falcons are desperate to snap a three-game losing streak while the Colts, boasting the top-ranked offense in the league, look to bounce back from a recent defeat against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams are hungry for a victory as they contend for playoff placements.
