Dharmendra Admitted to Hospital, On Ventilator Support Amid Health Concerns
Mumbai, India – Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was recently admitted to Breach Candy Hospital following complaints of breathlessness. The 89-year-old actor’s condition has since raised concerns as reports surfaced indicating he has been placed on ventilator support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Dharamendra’s admission to the hospital occurred on October 31, initially described as a routine check-up. However, on November 10, multiple reports indicated a deterioration in the actor’s health, prompting doctors to take more serious measures. According to sources, he is currently under the care of senior cardiologist Dr. Dev Pahlajani.
In an update, Dharmendra’s family has yet to confirm his ventilator status, but his son Sunny Deol’s team has addressed rumors, stating, “It’s rumour mongering like always, Sir is getting better. He’s under observation. There’s nothing to worry.”
Before being hospitalized, Dharmendra was noted to have exhibited some minor health issues over the year, including undergoing cataract surgery. His family and fans remain hopeful for his recovery.
