Anaheim Ducks Hockey Game

ANAHEIM, Calif. — The Anaheim Ducks (13-6-1) are on a two-game winning streak as they prepare to face the Ottawa Senators (9-6-4) tonight at Honda Center. The puck drops at 7 p.m. PT, airing exclusively on Victory+.

The Ducks are looking to secure their third consecutive victory while aiming for their seventh straight win at home. They recently claimed a thrilling 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins, with rookie Ian Moore scoring the game-winning goal.

Moore’s goal, his first go-ahead score as a defenseman for the Ducks since Cam Fowler in 2021, came with less than four minutes remaining in regulation. He credited his teammates for the play, stating, “That was a great play by the guys. Just trying to find a spot to get the puck from those guys and luckily it went in.”

With this recent victory, the Ducks have extended their lead in the Pacific Division, now sitting three points ahead of the Golden Knights and Kings. In contrast, the Senators are looking to bounce back after a 1-0 loss to the Kings last Saturday.

Senators’ head coach Travis Green emphasized the importance of the extra time spent practicing on the West Coast, highlighting that the team needs to perform well against the young, talented Ducks. “We’re facing a young team that’s off to a good start. We’re going to have to be on top of our game,” he said.

Tim Stützle leads the Senators with 19 points, closely followed by Drake Batherson with 18. However, Brady Tkachuk will not be playing as he continues recovery from thumb surgery.

Tonight’s game also marks the Ducks’ Hockey Fights Cancer night. Presented by UCI, the event will raise awareness and support for cancer patients and families through the local nonprofit Jessie Rees Foundation. Fans can participate in honoring loved ones by filling out “I Fight For” tribute cards available throughout Honda Center.
