Detroit Lions Set for Thanksgiving Clash with Packers at Ford Field
DETROIT — More than 60,000 fans are expected at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day to watch the 7-4 Detroit Lions face off against the 7-3-1 Green Bay Packers. This annual matchup promises not only exciting football but also a festive array of specialty menu items to celebrate the holiday.
Levy, the culinary and hospitality team that has partnered with the Lions since 2002, has prepared a festive menu for the occasion. “One of the greatest days for football meets the ultimate celebration of family, friends, and food all enjoyed under one roof,” said Andy Lansing, CEO of Levy. “It’s been our pleasure to host and serve Detroit fans on Thanksgiving for more than two decades.”
This year’s offerings include cinnamon-sugar donuts alongside Blake’s Hard Cider, with non-alcoholic options available at Lions Loyal Marketplaces in sections 100 and 120. Fans can also find Goose Island Bourbon County Stout on tap at the Beer of the Game cart near section 127.
For a more exclusive experience, suite menus will feature a Thanksgiving-themed brunch, and seasonal items sourced from local restaurants will also be offered throughout the stadium. Levy anticipates that this year’s menu will create lasting memories for fans attending the game.
The spirit of Thanksgiving will be in the air as fans enjoy both the game and the food, making it a day to remember.
