Oregon Ducks Face Creighton Bluejays in Consolation Game
LAS VEGAS, NV – The Oregon Ducks are set to face the Creighton Bluejays on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in a consolation game at the Michelob ULTRA Arena.
Oregon enters the matchup with a record of 4-2 after suffering two losses in the Players Era Festival. In their last game, the Ducks fell to the San Diego State Aztecs despite a strong performance from Jackson Shelstad, who scored 21 points. The team struggled defensively, allowing the Aztecs to score 97 points.
Creighton, with a record of 3-3, also aims to bounce back after losing two games in the tournament. The Bluejays’ last contest saw them held to a season-low 60 points against Iowa State, leading to concerns regarding their offensive capability.
Oregon’s head coach, Dana Altman, faces a challenging situation with star player Bittle sidelined due to a sprained ankle. Altman expressed disappointment in his team’s performance thus far but remains hopeful for improvement against Creighton.
“We need to show more energy and precision on offense,” Altman said. “Defensively, we have to step it up if we want to compete.”
The Ducks hold a slight historical edge in the rivalry, leading the all-time series 3-2, although the teams have split their previous neutral-site encounters. Their most recent meeting resulted in a double-overtime victory for Creighton in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in March 2024.
Today’s game will be broadcast on truTV, with tip-off scheduled for 11 a.m. PST. Both teams will strive for victory to gain momentum as they head back into the regular season.
