The Abbotsford Canucks have secured their spot in the AHL Pacific Division Semifinals after a hard-fought 2-1 victory in Game 3.

They are set to face off against the Ontario Reign in a best-of-5 series, marking the first-ever postseason matchup between the two teams.

The Reign, affiliated with the NHL’s LA Kings, advanced by defeating the Bakersfield Condors and are looking to continue their playoff momentum.

Games 1 and 2 of the series will take place at Toyota Arena in Ontario, with the final three games scheduled at the Abbotsford Centre.

Both teams are eager to claim victory in the Calder Cup Playoffs and progress towards the ultimate goal.
