LOS ANGELES, CA — ABC announced its 2025 fall lineup on May 13, which features minor changes and the addition of a new series, “9-1-1: Nashville.” The network intends to maintain stability, with the familiar programming expected to drive viewership across popular time slots.

9-1-1: Nashville” is a new spinoff of the original “9-1-1” series. It stars Chris O’Donnell as Captain Don Sharpe and will fill the 9 PM Thursday slot previously held by “Doctor Odyssey.” Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group, expressed confidence in this new series, stating it is a priority for the network.

Erwich emphasized that keeping core programming stable has proven beneficial for the network. He said, “We don’t want to make a lot of moves, because it can be confusing. Stability is key to our success year over year.” The addition of more episodes for breakout hit “High Potential” will extend its run in the Tuesday 10 PM slot, following “Dancing with the Stars.”n

The full fall schedule includes ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” on Mondays, while Fridays will feature a new show, “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” hosted by Ryan Seacrest at 8 PM, followed by two hours of “20/20.” Sundays will maintain the tradition of airing “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and “The Wonderful World of Disney.”n

“9-1-1 and Grey’s Anatomy will continue to lead Thursday nights, ensuring fans retain their favorite programming for the foreseeable future.
