Aew Dynamite Powerhouse Hobbs Casino Gauntlet

Powerhouse Hobbs emerged victorious in a chaotic Casino Gauntlet match on AEW Dynamite, earning a shot at Jon Moxley‘s AEW World Championship next week. The high-stakes bout, held at the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville, Tennessee, featured 11 competitors vying for the opportunity to challenge Moxley at the upcoming Maximum Carnage special.

The match began with Jay White and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page trading blows before Wheeler Yuta, Ricochet, Adam Cole, Daniel Garcia, and others entered the fray. Hobbs made his presence felt early, tossing Ricochet out of the ring and delivering suplexes to multiple opponents. The action intensified as Lance Archer, Kyle O’Reilly, and Jeff Jarrett joined the match, with Hobbs ultimately securing the win by pinning O’Reilly with a devastating spinebuster.

In other key matches, Will Ospreay defeated Buddy Matthews in a hard-fought singles bout, while Bobby Lashley submitted Mark Briscoe to continue the Hurt Syndicate’s dominance. Kris Statlander also triumphed in a three-way match against Toni Storm and Willow Nightingale, earning the #1 spot in next week’s Women’s Casino Gauntlet match.

The show also featured a tense confrontation between MJF and Jeff Jarrett, with Jarrett rejecting MJF’s offer of assistance in his quest for one more championship run. Meanwhile, Adam Copeland called out Jon Moxley, setting the stage for a potential clash between the two veterans.

With Hobbs now set to challenge Moxley and the Women’s Casino Gauntlet looming, AEW continues to build momentum heading into its Maximum Carnage special next week.
