BRISBANE, Australia — All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is poised to make its much-anticipated debut in Australia with the Grand Slam Australia event on February 15, 2025, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. AEW President Tony Khan proclaimed the event is set to generate one of the largest gates in the company’s history.

Originally planned for the larger Suncorp Stadium, which can accommodate over 50,000 fans, the venue for Grand Slam was shifted to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, which holds just over 13,000 spectators. “It’s gonna be very exciting. It’s my first time doing a show here,” Khan expressed during an interview. “This is one of our biggest international events ever. Outside of Wembley Stadium in London, this is gonna be, I believe, our biggest international live gate of all time.”

In his remarks, Khan highlighted the enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming matches, which will include Mariah May defending the AEW Women’s Championship against Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone defending the AEW TBS Championship against Harley Cameron. The match card also features a tag team competition with marquee wrestlers Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega.
