Wwe Smackdown Aleister Black The Miz

DES MOINES, IowaWWE‘s SmackDown airs live tonight, May 2, from Wells Fargo Arena at 8 PM ET. Among the high-stakes matches, Aleister Black makes his return to the ring to face The Miz, marking his first match in nearly five years.

Last week, Black shocked fans by attacking The Miz with a devastating Black Mass. The A-Lister, known for his long list of accolades, will be looking to rebound after the unexpected assault. “This is his chance to prove he still belongs in the ring,” said WWE insiders.

In addition, the ongoing rivalry between Randy Orton and WWE Champion John Cena continues to heat up. While Cena is not scheduled to appear, Orton is set to deliver a message as tensions rise ahead of their title match at WWE Backlash on May 10.

As the stakes get higher, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will also be in the spotlight. After being ambushed by Nia Jax last week, fans are eager to see if General Manager Nick Aldis announces their title match for Backlash.

Meanwhile, United States Champion Jacob Fatu finds himself in the center of a potential four-way title match as he faces challenges from Damian Priest, LA Knight, and Drew McIntyre, all of whom are gunning for the championship.

Other notable segments tonight include The Street Profits defending their tag titles and ongoing feuds highlighted by Bianca Belair’s absence due to injury and Naomi’s relentless rivalry with Jade Cargill.

Tonight’s SmackDown promises an action-packed evening, and with so many storylines in play, viewers won’t want to miss a moment. Tune in at 8 PM ET on the USA Network.
