Alianza Lima vs. Comerciantes Unidos Match Postponed Due to Weather Issues

CAJABAMBA, Peru – The much-anticipated soccer match between Alianza Lima and Comerciantes Unidos has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The game, which was scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 p.m., faced issues when Alianza Lima’s flight was forced to return mid-air on Friday afternoon because of poor weather.
Kevin Pacheco, a journalist with RPP Noticias, reported, “The match between Comerciantes Unidos and Alianza Lima will not take place tomorrow. Liga1 is currently determining whether it will be rescheduled for Sunday or another date.”
Originally, Alianza Lima had prepared 20 players for the encounter at the Germán Contreras Jara stadium. A key highlight for the team was the return of Pablo Ceppelini, who had recovered from an injury and was ready to play.
As of now, the Professional Football League has not issued a statement regarding Alianza Lima’s situation, leaving fans and players uncertain about the future schedule.
