Amanda Serrano Signs Lifetime Deal to Elevate Women’s Boxing

NEW YORK, NY – Seven-division world champion Amanda Serrano has signed a lifetime agreement with Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian‘s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) that will enhance her role in women’s boxing beyond her fighting career.
Serrano, 36, plans to compete for MVP throughout her boxing career and then transition to chairwoman of the company’s women’s boxing initiatives. She aims to identify, sign, develop, and market a growing roster of female athletes.
“Signing this lifetime deal with MVP means I can continue fighting – not just in the ring, but for the next generation of women in combat sports,” Serrano stated in an announcement to ESPN. “MVP has always been committed to elevating female fighters, breaking viewership records and making history with 12 three-minute rounds. Together, we’ve shown the world that women deserve equal pay, equal rounds, and equal respect.”
Serrano’s commitment to women’s boxing is particularly timely following her recent bout against Katie Taylor, which took place in November. The fight, which was an undercard to Jake Paul’s record-breaking matchup against boxing legend Mike Tyson, garnered significant viewership, with 50 million households tuning in. The event, streamed on Netflix, racked up 235.7 million hours of watch time and 48.9 million total views.
Despite suffering two narrow losses to Taylor, Serrano’s performances have sparked discussions about a potential third fight, which could be one of the largest events in women’s boxing history. Serrano’s professional record stands at 47 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw, with 31 knockouts to her name.
While her next match is pending, Serrano expressed pride in her contributions to women’s boxing, stating, “I’m excited to stay on after I retire as a fighter to deepen MVP’s impact and help create even more opportunities for women in the sport.”
Jake Paul emphasized Serrano’s importance to MVP, noting, “Amanda Serrano is the heart and soul of MVP. Her relentless drive, historic achievements, and passion for uplifting other fighters are everything we are looking for in both signees and as future decision-makers alongside us at MVP.”
Since joining MVP in 2021, Serrano made headlines with her fight against Taylor, marking a pivotal moment in her career and the sport. Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of MVP, praised Serrano’s contributions: “Amanda has paved the way for female fighters worldwide, shattering glass ceilings and demanding equality at every step. We are so fortunate to have her as both a fighter and a trailblazer. This lifetime agreement is a testament to our belief in Amanda as an athlete and a visionary leader who will help guide MVP’s future and inspire generations to come.”
