GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Club América Femenil extended their perfect start to the Clausura 2025 Liga MX Femenil season with a commanding 3-0 victory over Atlas on Tuesday. Brazilian forward Priscila Flor Da Silva scored her fifth goal of the campaign, solidifying her position as one of the league’s top scorers.

América dominated from the outset, controlling 66% of possession in the first half and preventing Atlas from registering a single shot on target. Priscila opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a precise right-footed strike, while Spanish midfielder Irene Guerrero doubled the lead before halftime. Monserrat Saldívar sealed the win with a third goal in the 67th minute.

“We came here with a clear plan and executed it perfectly,” said América coach Ángel Villacampa. “Priscila’s form has been exceptional, and the team’s defensive discipline was key today.”

With this victory, América remains atop the league table with 12 points from four matches, two points clear of second-place Pachuca. Priscila trails only Pachuca’s Charlyn Corral in the Golden Boot race, with Corral holding a one-goal advantage.

Elsewhere in the league, reigning champions Monterrey cruised to a 5-1 win over Puebla, with Spanish forward Lucía García netting a hat-trick. Meanwhile, Tigres UANL continued to struggle, sitting 12th in the table after suffering their second home defeat of the season.

The Liga MX Femenil action resumes on Friday, with América set to face León on Saturday in a bid to maintain their unbeaten streak.
