Amorim Observes Positive Shift in Manchester United Training Sound

MANCHESTER, England — Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim reported a notable transformation in his team’s training sessions, emphasizing improvements in atmosphere and player communication.
Amorim’s comments come ahead of the Red Devils’ Premier League match against Everton on Saturday, where they seek to reverse their troubling trend of only four wins in their first 14 league matches this season.
Speaking during a pre-match conference, Amorim remarked, “For me it’s more important in training, what I see in training is they are improving and creating relationships. Even the sounds of the training is different. We have to use that in the game and see it in the game and take that step.” His observations underscore a shift in energy and understanding among the players.
The coach elaborated on the changes he observed, stating, “The sound, when you are in practice… people are talking, asking for the ball, giving directions, talking to each other. And you can feel it in the environment.” Amorim believes that the auditory aspect of training is as crucial as the visuals when measuring a team’s progress.
Despite Amorim’s optimism about training improvements, he also acknowledged the challenges ahead. Manchester United has found themselves ranked 15th in the Premier League, just one point above Everton. Amorim pointed out, “What I feel is that sometimes I don’t see improvement in the team… but I think, when we play some games, that things are there and we are capable. But we have to be consistent.”
As they prepare for their clash with Everton, Amorim is aware of the pressure on his squad to translate training success into match-day performance. “We have moments where we can compete, but inconsistency remains a concern,” he added.
However, the head coach remains positive about the potential benefits of the additional training time they gained with fewer matches in recent weeks. “We’ve had three successive weeks of just one game, allowing those extra sessions to help implement my methods,” he noted.
Amorim praised Everton’s recent resurgence under manager David Moyes, who led the team to four victories in his first six games in charge. “The way they play, they believe a lot. It’s going to be a really hard game,” he said, recognizing the challenges posed by an invigorated Everton squad.
As United gears up for this critical fixture, Amorim’s appreciation for the intensified atmosphere in training reflects his hope for a turnaround in form on the pitch.
