In a significant milestone for his legal career, a partner from the international law firm K&L Gates has been inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. The induction took place at the College’s recent Annual Meeting held in Nashville, Tennessee, and was witnessed by approximately 730 attendees.

Founded in 1950, the American College of Trial Lawyers is considered one of the most distinguished legal associations in North America. It extends Fellowship by invitation only, following a rigorous selection process to experienced trial lawyers who demonstrate exemplary advocacy, ethics, and professionalism. Candidates must have at least 15 years of trial experience to be considered.

The College’s membership is limited to no more than one percent of the lawyer population in any state or province, with about 5,700 members across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. These members include active Fellows, Emeritus Fellows, Judicial Fellows, and Honorary Fellows. The College promotes high standards of trial practice and advocates for judicial independence, trial by jury, and access to justice.

The K&L Gates partner, who focuses on complex commercial litigation, personal injury, and wrongful death claims, has been a practicing lawyer in Nashville for over 20 years. An alumnus of Vanderbilt University Law School, he has handled numerous trials in both federal and state courts, as well as arbitration panels and regulatory bodies.

In joining the College, this partner becomes part of an elite group within K&L Gates, which includes other partners from the firm who have also been inducted as Fellows. K&L Gates is a fully integrated law firm with a global presence, representing entities ranging from multinational corporations to educational and philanthropic organizations.
