Angelo Stiller Stuttgart Football Transfer News

Stuttgart, GermanyAngelo Stiller, the German national player for VfB Stuttgart, is gaining interest from Real Madrid, according to reports from the Spanish sports newspaper Marca. The news comes as Stiller is having an impressive season under Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeneß.

Marca indicates that Stiller is one of several candidates on the shopping list of Xabi Alonso, the current Bayer Leverkusen coach rumored to be taking over at Real Madrid. Alonso is reportedly searching for a new midfield conductor as he prepares for his future role, and Stiller has emerged as a prime candidate.

Alongside Stiller, other names mentioned include Exequiel Palacios, who has played extensively under Alonso at Leverkusen, and Tijjani Reijnders from AC Milan. Marca describes Stiller as the ‘most organized’ of the three options, noting that he could be available for around 40 million euros.

In Germany, Bild reported that Stiller has a release clause of 36.5 million euros that would come into effect in the summer of 2026. However, reports suggest that Real Madrid might be able to negotiate this clause for a payment of four million euros, allowing the club to plan for Stiller’s addition sooner.

Stiller, who trained in Bayern Munich’s youth system, joined Stuttgart in 2023 for 5.5 million euros and has developed into a key player, helping to bolster his status in the national team. In the ongoing season, he has scored four goals and provided nine assists in 46 competitive matches.

As Real Madrid looks to fill the void left by Toni Kroos, who retired last summer, Stiller’s performance and versatility make him a strong candidate for an important role in the team’s midfield.
