30th Anniversary of Ottawa Bluesfest: Neil Young, Nickelback, Maroon 5 Headlining
Ottawa Bluesfest is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a remarkable lineup of headliners gracing the stage this summer. The festival will take place at the grounds of the Canadian War Museum in LeBreton Flats Park.
The highly-anticipated event will feature music icons such as Neil Young, the legendary rock musician, hip-hop sensation 50 Cent, Canadian favorite Nickelback, and the chart-topping pop-rock group Maroon 5.
Neil Young and his band Crazy Horse will be embarking on their first North American tour in a decade, making this a rare and special appearance for fans. The last time Young performed in Ottawa was in 2012.
The lineup also includes Maroon 5, fronted by the charismatic Adam Levine, and the influential rapper Nas, known for his contributions to hip hop music. Additionally, Mötley Crüe and Tyler Childers will be joining the festival for the first time.
Kicking off on July 4 with Mother Mother, the festival will run until July 14, presenting a diverse range of musical acts each day, including established favorites and exciting newcomers. The event promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all genres.
Among the local talents set to perform are Lynne Hanson, Mia Kelly, LH Express, OK Naledi, and many more, showcasing the vibrant music scene in the Ottawa area.
Full-festival passes will be available for purchase during a presale on March 1, with single-day tickets going on sale on March 2. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early as this anniversary edition of Ottawa Bluesfest is expected to be a sell-out event.
