Antetokounmpo, Jokić Lead NBA All-Star Voting as Final Days Approach
NEW YORK — Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić remain the top vote-getters in their respective conferences as the NBA All-Star 2025 voting enters its final days, the league announced Thursday. Fan voting, which accounts for 50% of the selection process, concludes Monday, Jan. 20, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Antetokounmpo leads the Eastern Conference with 3.4 million votes, followed by Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and New York Knicks center-forward Karl-Anthony Towns. In the West, Jokić holds the top spot, with Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant rounding out the top three.
Among guards, Charlotte Hornets‘ LaMelo Ball and Cleveland Cavaliers‘ Donovan Mitchell lead the East, while Oklahoma City Thunder‘s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Golden State Warriors‘ Stephen Curry top the West. The final two “3-for-1 Days,” where NBA ID members’ votes count triple, are Friday, Jan. 17, and Monday, Jan. 20.
NBA ID members, who make up 50% of the voting process, can submit one full ballot daily, selecting three frontcourt players and two guards from each conference. The remaining 50% of the vote is split evenly between current NBA players and a media panel.
The starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be revealed on TNT on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 7 p.m. ET. Reserves will be announced on Thursday, Jan. 30. The game will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area, with fans who vote automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to attend.
This year’s voting process, presented by AT&T, began on Dec. 19, 2024, and has included six “3-for-1 Days” to encourage fan participation. The league has shared updates on fan voting every Thursday in January, with the final update released on Jan. 16.
As the deadline approaches, the race for All-Star spots remains tight, particularly in the Western Conference, where James recently surpassed Durant by 92,444 votes. The final results will determine which players earn the coveted starting positions in one of the NBA’s most anticipated events.
