Antonee Robinson Named 2024 U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year

CHICAGO (Jan. 5, 2024) – U.S. Men’s National Team defender Antonee Robinson has been named the 2024 U.S. Soccer Male Player of the Year, becoming the first defender to win the award since Oguchi Onyewu in 2006. Robinson, 27, earned the honor after a standout year with both the national team and his club, Fulham FC, where he was also named the 2023-24 Player of the Year.

Robinson secured 55% of the weighted votes, which included input from fans, national team coaches, USMNT players, U.S. Soccer Board of Directors, and media members. He edged out notable nominees such as Folarin Balogun, Ricardo Pepi, Christian Pulisic, and Tim Ream. The fan vote accounted for 15% of the total tally.
