FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas Razorbacks‘ weekend series against the Missouri Tigers has officially been rescheduled due to severe weather concerns. The teams will now kick off their three-game series at Baum-Walker Stadium at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 5. The series will conclude with a seven-inning doubleheader on Sunday, April 6, beginning at 1 p.m.

The opening game, initially slated for 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, was postponed as a precaution for fan safety. All three games will be available for streaming on SEC Network+.

In their first game of the series, Arkansas dominated Missouri with a resounding 21-3 victory on Saturday afternoon. This effort marked the highest run total for the Razorbacks in an SEC game under head coach Dave Van Horn.

Currently ranked second nationally, the Razorbacks improved their record to 28-3 and 9-1 in SEC play, while the Tigers fell to 11-18 and remain winless in conference play at 0-10.

Logan Maxwell and Brent Iredale both contributed home runs to the score, while Cam Kozeal had an impressive outing, going 4 for 5 with three runs scored and five RBIs.

The Razorbacks capitalized on Missouri’s pitching struggles throughout the game. Arkansas was awarded 14 walks and received four hit-by-pitches, resulting in seven runs scored through these opportunities alone.

Zach Root started on the mound for Arkansas, striking out seven batters over five innings. Dylan Carter and Will McEntire combined to record the final six outs for the Razorbacks.

Fans looking to catch the remaining games of the series can find live updates, highlights, and streaming information available through various sports news platforms.
