Arkansas Razorbacks Softball Defeats Oklahoma State to Reach Super Regionals

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas softball team advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals after a commanding 12-0 victory over Oklahoma State on May 18, 2025. This win marks Arkansas’ first Super Regional appearance since 2022.

In front of a home crowd at Bogle Park, the Razorbacks (43-12) took control early, scoring three runs in the first inning. Courtney Day ignited the offense with a single to left field, allowing Raigan Kramer to score after an overturned call at home plate. Ella McDowell quickly followed with an RBI single, and Kennedy Miller drew a bases-loaded walk to extend the lead to 3-0.

Pitcher Robyn Herron and the defense showcased stellar performances, completing back-to-back 1-2-3 innings. The Hogs continued their offensive surge in the top of the third, with Atalyia Rijo, Karlie Davison, and Kramer combining to score three more runs, pushing the lead to 6-0.

The decisive moment came in the sixth inning when Arkansas scored six runs, highlighted by Davison’s impressive three-run home run. This explosive display sealed the victory at 12-0, as Herron secured the win with one last 1-2-3 inning.

The Razorbacks will host their Super Regional matchup against SEC rival Ole Miss from May 22 to 25. The winner will advance to the Women’s College World Series, a championship Arkansas has yet to reach.
