Army Black Knights Vs Boston U. Terriers Basketball Game

WEST POINT, N.Y. — The Army Black Knights and Boston University Terriers will face off in a pivotal Patriot League basketball matchup Saturday at 12:00 p.m. ET at Christl Arena. Both teams enter the game with identical 9-9 records, setting the stage for a tightly contested battle.

The Terriers are coming off a 63-58 home victory over Lehigh on Wednesday, led by Kyrone Alexander’s 18 points and six rebounds. Alexander, who struggled in a previous loss to Colgate, rebounded with a strong performance to help Boston U. secure its fifth consecutive home win.

Meanwhile, Army extended its winning streak to three games with a dramatic 70-68 victory over Lafayette on Wednesday. Jalen Rucker’s clutch jump shot with less than a second remaining sealed the win, capping a comeback from a 12-point deficit in the second half. Rucker finished with 29 points, while Ryan Curry added 14 points and two steals.

In their last meeting two weeks ago, Boston U. defeated Army 71-63 on their home court. However, the Black Knights are favored by 1.5 points in the rematch, with the over/under set at 130.5 points. According to Dimers‘ predictive model, Army has a 55% chance of winning, with a projected final score of 66-65.

“Our team has used the latest data to run 10,000 simulations of Saturday’s game,” said Nick Slade, Chief Content Officer at Dimers. “By incorporating recent updates and various inputs, we estimate that Army is more likely to win, while Boston University has a lower chance of victory.”

Boston U. will look to overcome the loss of home-court advantage, while Army aims to capitalize on its recent momentum. The game will be a critical test for both teams as they vie for positioning in the Patriot League standings.
