The sporting director, Edu, expressed delight in completing the new contract with White, praising his contributions and commitment to the team.

White’s decision not to be considered for the England squad at present was revealed by national team manager Gareth Southgate.
Southgate mentioned that White declined the opportunity due to personal reasons, despite his previous involvements in major tournaments like the Euros and the World Cup.
White, who recently extended his contract at Arsenal, expressed his joy at finding a stable home at the Emirates Stadium.
