Arsenal Player Michał Rosiak Training

Madrid, Spain — Arsenal midfielder Michał Rosiak, along with fellow teammate Jakub Kiwior, has traveled to Madrid for the UEFA Champions League semi-final match against Real Madrid, scheduled for Wednesday at 21:00.

The 19-year-old Rosiak, who can play as a right-back or in midfield, has made a mark this season, scoring six goals in 17 appearances for the U-21 team. Known for his proficiency in free-kicks, he previously represented Poland at the U-19 level.

Rosiak joined the first team for the trip following a successful spell where he showcased his talents during a preseason tour of the USA last year. This season, he started as a midfielder but has transitioned to a right-back role since January, where he has continued to develop his skills under pressure.

In 2022, he signed his first professional contract, becoming the first player from his age group to do so at Arsenal. His contributions have earned him recognition and a growing role in the club’s plans.

Last season, Rosiak was instrumental in helping the Arsenal U-18 squad reach the FA Youth Cup final. Recently, he completed a full 90 minutes in a match against West Bromwich Albion, despite the team suffering a narrow 3-4 defeat.

Traveling with Rosiak to Spain is Jimi Gower, who has been a regular on the bench lately, alongside teammates Jack Henry-Francis, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, and goalkeeper Tommy Setford. With the importance of the match, it remains likely that Rosiak will see playing time in the return leg of the quarter-final.

Coach Mikel Arteta has expressed confidence in the younger players and is optimistic about Rosiak’s ability to make an impact on this prestigious stage. As the anticipation builds for the match, fans are left wondering if Rosiak will break into Arsenal’s starting eleven in the future.

Meanwhile, Arsenal fans are keenly following the live game updates as they hope for a positive outcome against Real Madrid, aiming to overcome a 3-0 deficit from the first leg in London.
