Atalanta Primavera Defeats Slavia Praha in UEFA Youth League Match

BERGAMO, Italy — Atalanta Primavera celebrated a decisive 2-0 victory against Slavia Praha during the 2025/26 UEFA Youth League on October 22, 2025, atCentro Bortolotti.
The match began with both teams demonstrating high intensity and physicality. The first significant chance came from Atalanta’s Kamara, whose driven shot forced Slavia’s goalkeeper, Paar, to make a sharp save. Isoa subsequently had a header that narrowly missed the target, going just wide of the far post.
Right before halftime, Atalanta nearly scored but hit the crossbar after a corner kick. Kamara picked up a loose ball, firing a powerful shot that rattled the woodwork.
In the early moments of the second half, Kamara was again in the spotlight, making a cut-in from the left before his shot found the side netting. Slavia responded with a chance from Kolísek but could not find the net.
Atalanta finally broke the deadlock in the 64th minute. A corner kick led to a fortunate deflection off a Slavia defender, resulting in an own goal that put Atalanta ahead.
As the game progressed, Atalanta continued to dominate and created multiple chances. The final goal came five minutes from the end when 2009-born Gasparello scored on his debut, curling a brilliant left-footed shot into the far corner of the net, sealing the victory.
The match concluded with Atalanta securing a deserving 2-0 win over Slavia Praha, continuing their strong performance in the tournament.
