Atlanta Braves Truist Park Home Opener 2025 Features

ATLANTA, Ga. – As the Atlanta Braves prepare to kick off their 2025 home season, fans can expect a night filled with excitement, topped with new features to enhance their ballpark experience. The Braves will face the Miami Marlins in their highly anticipated home opener tonight at Truist Park with the first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m.

Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., and the first 40,000 attendees will receive a complimentary 2025 Braves magnetic schedule. “Our fans deserve an unforgettable experience this season, and we have worked hard to make that happen,” said a Braves spokesperson during a recent segment on Good Day Atlanta.

The excitement for the evening is already building. A variety of pregame festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. Fans are invited to watch the Braves Walk, where players and coaches will parade through The Battery, concluding at the First Base Gate. The ceremony will include a ceremonial first pitch by Braves legend Fred McGriff, an anthem performance by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and a dramatic flyover by four T-38 jets from Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.

New this season at Truist Park is the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Park, which recently opened its doors to families at a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 30,000-square-foot space includes a miniature baseball field, a rock climbing tower, and a large screen to keep kids entertained and informed about the game. “We are thrilled to have this new area for families to enjoy,” said a representative from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Fans will also discover the Outfield Market, a new food hall showcasing a range of local vendors with unique menu items available exclusively at the park. As part of enhanced security measures, bags are not permitted within the stadium, with a limited number of storage lockers available for fans arriving with prohibited items. Guests can bring in outside snacks in a gallon-sized plastic bag along with one sealed bottle of water per person.

In addition to new park features, the Braves have launched a new apparel line, the Collab Collection, available at the Braves Clubhouse Store. This initiative showcases limited-edition merchandise designed by Braves Centerfielder Michael Harris II and his wife, Esther. The collection’s first launch will occur on April 9, coinciding with the team’s opening week festivities.

With warm weather expected, reaching nearly 90 degrees, fans are advised to dress appropriately for the conditions. While cloud cover may provide some relief, sun protection is highly recommended.

Currently, the Braves are off to a challenging start this season, having lost their opening game against the Miami Marlins 4-0 and standing at 1-8. As the season progresses, Gray Media plans to simulcast 15 Braves games throughout the Southeast, allowing fans to catch the action across various platforms.
