Felix Auger Aliassime Tennis Injury News

Rome, ItalyFelix Auger-Aliassime has withdrawn from the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Rome due to a lower back injury. The Canadian player was scheduled to compete on Saturday but will be replaced by lucky loser Hugo Dellien.

The 24-year-old Auger-Aliassime, currently ranked No. 27 in the PIF ATP Rankings, has had a challenging season so far. Despite a strong start early in the year, he has struggled for form, posting a record of 17-10. This comes after reaching the final in Dubai in February and losing six of his last seven matches.

Auger-Aliassime has previously enjoyed success on tour, securing titles in Adelaide and Montpellier in 2025, making him one of only two players with multiple titles this year. His withdrawal opens up an opportunity for Dellien, who will take on Brazil’s Seyboth Wild later in the event.

Fans and fellow players wish Auger-Aliassime a speedy recovery as he aims to return to action soon.
