Australia‘s position in the FIFA Men's Rankings remains unchanged at 24th despite recent international tournaments.

The UEFA EURO 2024 and the 2024 Copa America concluded, causing some shifts in the rankings.

Remarkably, Austria climbed three spots to 22nd following their Round of 16 exit in Germany.

Graham Arnold‘s team continues to hold the 24th spot, with Japan (17) and Korea Republic (23) also dropping one place.

These three nations remain the fourth-highest ranked teams from Asia, with IR Iran maintaining their 20th position in the standings.

Australia is gearing up for upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026™ Round Three AFC Qualifiers, starting with a match against Bahrain on September 5 at the Gold Coast.

The action continues with an away game against Indonesia on September 10 at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya.

Both matches will be broadcast on 10 Paramount, with tickets available from Ticketmaster, starting at $15 for children.

The next Men’s FIFA World Rankings release is scheduled for September 19.
